More than just a seal, it’s the gold standard for healthier, responsibly made textiles.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is a globally trusted, independent certification system that rigorously tests textiles at every stage of production—from raw materials to finished products.

Since 1992, the label "Confidence in Textiles" has stood for a simple promise: Every certified fabric is scientifically proven safe, with harmful substances kept far below strict limits.

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 test criteria are based on the latest scientific research and updated annually to meet global regulations. It screens for:

  • Banned substances (e.g., carcinogenic dyes)
  • Regulated chemicals (e.g., lead, mercury)
  • Harmful but unregulated substances (e.g., pesticides, allergenic dyes)
  • Quality & safety parameters (e.g., colorfastness, skin-friendly pH)

Trust Labotex to evaluate your fabrics and ensure they meet the highest standards of durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal.

Labotex is an ISO-accredited independent testing laboratory based in Belgium, specializing in the soft furnishing and decorative fabric industry. Every test conducted at Labotex meets the highest international standards, ensuring reliable and certified results for innovators in the field.

Labotex conducts a comprehensive range of mechanical tests—such as the Martindale (International) and Wyzenbeek (American) abrasion tests—in strict compliance with leading global standards, including:

  • ISO (International Standard)
  • EN (European Standard)
  • BS (British Standard)
  • IMO (International Maritime Standard)
  • ASTM (American Standard)

These tests evaluate a fabric’s resistance to abrasion (scuffing, scratching, and wear), helping predict its durability. However, actual performance depends on multiple factors, such as:

  • Fiber content
  • Weave type
  • Finishes applied
  • Maintenance & cleaning
  • End-use conditions
